Features: Since the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China was revised on March 14, 1997, and came into effect on October 1 of the same year, it has been six years. During these six years, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress has successively formulated a single criminal law, namely the Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Punishing the Crime of Fraudulently Purchasing Foreign Exchange, Evading Exchange Control, and Illegally Trading in Foreign Exchange, four criminal law amendments, and six legislative interpretations. In addition, the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate have successively issued over one hundred judicial interpretations compatible with the Criminal Code. These contents fully reflect the significant developments and changes in China's criminal legislation and criminal justice. These developments and changes have been reflected to varying degrees in some textbooks or other works. To fully incorporate these developments and changes in criminal legislation and criminal justice into criminal law reference books and make them accessible to more readers, this is the purpose of compiling the New Dictionary of Practical Criminal Law. This dictionary is organized according to the sequence of the criminal law system, striving to maintain the completeness of the criminal law system in each section. The entries are basically single words from criminal law and include some common terms.
