The "Xinhua Daily" reported on this incident, and multiple media outlets such as Nanjing's "Jinling Evening News," "Jiangnan Times," Shanghai's "Morning News," Nanjing TV Channel 18, Nanjing TV Lifestyle Channel, and Jiangsu Education Television conducted exclusive interviews with the author. CCTV's interview program "Storytelling" also invited the author for a special interview.
This book is based on the author's manuscript, supplemented and enriched, making its content more comprehensive and well-organized, and more practical for citizens to prevent pickpocketing. The book first reveals the inner workings of pickpockets from the perspective of a "master thief," briefly introducing the social harm caused by pickpockets, influential serious cases, their characteristics, methods, common language, and activity patterns, providing citizens with a relatively in-depth and comprehensive understanding of pickpockets. It also introduces precautions and specific measures for preventing pickpocketing, including anti-pickpocketing on public transport, mobile phones, bicycles, private cars and vehicles, homes and enterprises, as well as urban beauties and the elderly. It reminds readers of the actions to take if they are pickpocketed and lists multiple cases, analyzing the pickpockets' methods, actions, and the mistakes of the victims, aiming to serve as a warning and help for the general public.
