Features: With the development of China's securities market, an increasing number of universities have introduced courses such as "Investment in Securities" or similar subjects. The number of students selecting securities-related courses in universities has been growing day by day. To this end, the Institute of Finance and Securities at Renmin University of China organized the compilation of the "21st Century Securities Series Textbooks." This series consists of four modules and 13 volumes, including the "Teaching Case Module," which contains the volume " of China's Securities Market." Due to time constraints at the time, I, along with the main compilers of the book, Dr. Mei Jun, etc., believed that " of China's Securities Market" was overly simplistic and lacked in-depth analysis, especially as a teaching case, it should be further improved. With the strong support of Renmin University of China Press, and particularly through the meticulous planning of Ms. Wang Kefang and Ms. Zhang Dongmei, as well as the specific organization of Dr. Mei Jun, the "· of China's Securities Market" was finally presented to readers. This book can be seen as a case-based textbook to the "21st Century Securities Series Textbooks." It places greater emphasis on linking theory with practice, enabling readers to see the real-life securities market through in-depth analysis of specific cases. This series textbook is divided into six volumes, summarizing and organizing typical cases of China's securities market from six aspects: issuance and listing, securities trading, information disclosure, restructuring and mergers, intermediaries, and legal proceedings. Each case is written in four parts: The first part is the basic facts, including the involved parties, background, and the course of events. Some cases also list several similar cases and may include social responses and penalty (judgment) results. The second part is the issues, which briefly lists the problems the case aims to illustrate, helping readers to think while reading the following content. The third part is the analysis, which discusses and analyzes the key points of each case based on current laws and regulations and regulatory rules. The fourth part is the appendix, mainly including relevant laws, important literature, and materials related to the case. Information disclosure systems are an important part of securities market systems, and their perfection directly determines the effectiveness of the securities market. Improving the effectiveness of the securities market fundamentally requires solving problems that arise in the process of securities price formation, including information disclosure, information transmission, information interpretation, and information feedback. A key issue is establishing and improving the mandatory information disclosure system for listed companies.
