Features: Water Margin is filled with many intricate stories, legends, and timeless tales passed down through the ages, such as Lu Zhishen's chaos in the Wild Boar Forest, uprooting the willows, Wu Song fighting the tiger, and drunkenly attacking Jiang Mengshen. Li Kui's fierce battles with the White Water Tide, the three attacks on Zhu Zhu Village, Lin Chong's joining the Liangshan heroes, and the clever seizure of the birthday gift are all included. The language in this book is vivid, and the characters are lively. Li Kui's recklessness, Lu Zhishen's fiery temper, Lin Chong's patience, and Wu Song's courage hidden beneath his wit are all vividly portrayed in the stories. As a result, it has become one of China's Four Great Classical Novels. This book was written by Shi Nai'an and Luo Guanzhong, a novelist from the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. The original work is also known as Loyal and Righteous Water Margin. We have adapted some classic and interesting stories from Water Margin, with concise and vivid writing that highlights the bravery and wisdom of the Liangshan heroes. We have avoided some of the violence and superstition in the original novel and added sections such as "Related Links," "Tracing the Origins," and "Character Profiles." This allows young readers to gain a more comprehensive understanding of Water Margin while also "selecting the essence" to better appreciate the classical masterpieces.
