Features: At the very beginning of the nationwide campaign to crack down on crime and maintain order, three night watchmen guarding the vault at the Yancheng County Credit Union in Yancheng City were killed overnight, and over 2.6 million yuan in cash was stolen. This "April 15" murder and robbery case, which occurred in the old area of northern Jiangsu, had never been seen in Jiangsu since the founding of the People's Republic of China and was rare nationwide. The case attracted the attention of top leaders, with Luo Gan, Hui Liangyu, and Jia Chunwang respectively issuing directives demanding the case be cracked down on as soon as possible. The Ministry of Public Security listed the case as a high-priority case for close supervision. Due to the perpetrator's strong anti-investigation capabilities, the "April 15" case was exceptionally complex and shrouded in mystery. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Public Security, leaders of the Jiangsu Provincial Public Security Department and the Criminal Investigation Bureau closely monitored the case, mobilizing the provincial public security organs to work closely together. The special case command center led all participating officers through more than four months of day and night efforts, overcoming difficulties, not only arresting and bringing the demon who committed this case to justice but also solving 15 murder and robbery cases committed by this demon over 10 years in 7 provinces across the country, resulting in 26 deaths and injuries and robbing a total of over 4 million yuan in property.
