Features: At the beginning of the 20th century, Hong Kong's Phoenix TV launched a special program commemorating General Zhang Xueliang. In the program, Zhang Xueliang recounted his family history: Before the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty, Dongbei Province, known as the "land of the dragon's rise" by Qing rulers, was forbidden from being developed and even Han people were not allowed to enter. Later, the ban was relaxed, and his ancestors, originally residing in Da Cheng County, Hebei Province, moved to Haicheng County, Liaoning Province. They acquired the right to "a land as far as an arrow can reach" (the land within the range of an arrow shot) for a single silver coin, and the family flourished in the vast and densely populated Northeast.
