Features: Clinical treatment and basic research in gynecological tumors have made significant progress in recent years, leading to noticeable improvements in treatment outcomes. However, many controversial issues still remain. During conferences and lectures, the most engaging discussions often revolve around questions and answers. Similarly, during ward rounds and preoperative consultations, doctors, patients, and family members are primarily interested in the questions raised and the responses given. The questions raised are highly practical, with some having clear answers and others still debated. The more controversial the issue, the greater the interest it generates. If these questions could be compiled into a book and analyzed from the perspective of modern evidence-based medicine, identifying potential solutions or answers, this would not only aid clinical decision-making but also undoubtedly drive progress in the field of gynecological tumors. The process of solving these problems is, in itself, the process of continuous development in clinical medicine. This is the purpose of compiling this book. The book contains approximately 400,000 words, divided into 17 chapters, covering various gynecological tumors, the application of new technologies and methods in gynecological tumors, and related basic research. The writing of this book differs from previous efforts, as it does not aim for comprehensiveness or thoroughness but instead focuses on key points, critical issues, and practicality. To highlight the key points, a "point-for-the-whole" approach is adopted: major issues in various gynecological tumors are first presented, followed by analysis and discussion using new literature, and concluded with a brief summary representing the current consensus on the issue. A large number of new references are provided at the end of the main text for easy reference. By approaching the book with specific questions in mind, readers are encouraged to think critically and find answers, thereby benefiting from their reading. The authors of this book are senior physicians and doctors from Peking Union Medical College Hospital, affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College. Some are renowned experts in gynecological tumors in China, with extensive clinical experience, while others are young scholars with a strong grasp of the new developments and advanced techniques in the field. During the writing process, the authors have integrated their rich clinical experience and new knowledge, striving for clarity, practicality, originality, and readability, making the book as informative, practical, and advanced as possible. Despite these efforts, the book may still have some shortcomings, and some issues in gynecological tumors may be overlooked. We sincerely welcome feedback from fellow professionals.
