Features: The gastritis referred to in this book refers to chronic gastritis (abbreviated as "gastritis"). This disease is a common and frequently occurring condition. Currently, there are still many unclear aspects regarding its etiology, pathogenesis, and outcome. However, with the development and research of high-functional endoscopy and dynamic instruments, the deepening study of Helicobacter pylori, as well as the advancement of pathology and molecular biology, people have gained new insights into gastritis from different perspectives. This book is divided into eight chapters, focusing on research and discussion on the endoscopic classification, typing, and pathological characteristics of gastritis, the relationship between gastritis and Helicobacter pylori, gastritis and gastrointestinal hormones, gastritis and dynamics, gastritis and early carcinogenesis, and the current status of gastritis treatment. These topics are of interest to clinicians and are also key areas of current research. Each chapter of the book adopts a combination of reviews and research papers to elaborate on these issues, attempting to present our perspectives on them. Due to the large number of contributors and the haste in editing and proofreading, there may be rough or even incorrect places, and we hope for criticism and corrections from colleagues and readers. During the writing process, Dr. Feng Li from the Ruijin Hospital Group in Shanghai, Comrade Niu Mouping from the General Hospital of Shenyang Military Region, and Comrades Fu Suolin and Wu Wei from Shanghai Second Medical University made significant contributions, and their efforts are hereby acknowledged.
