Features: The Sanxi Tang Fapti has been the "bible" for calligraphy enthusiasts since its compilation by Liang Shizheng, Grand Secretary and Minister of Personnel, under the order of Emperor Qianlong in the 12th year of the Qianlong era. It contains more than 340 styles of calligraphy from over 130 renowned calligraphers from the Wei, Jin periods to the Ming Dynasty, including Zhong You and Dong Qichang. Its artistic value is extremely high, representing the highest level of Chinese calligraphy. The Sanxi Tang Fapti published by Beijing Ancient Books Publishing House is the first domestically released silk-bound, manually printed edition. It employs traditional jade plate printing techniques, demonstrating exquisite craftsmanship and perfectly preserving the original charm, making it possess extremely high artistic and historical value.
The Sanxi Tang Fapti has been widely circulated and exists in numerous versions. This luxurious silk-bound, manually printed first edition was launched at great expense by Beijing Ancient Books Publishing House, marking the first time Sanxi Tang Fapti was printed on handmade paper. The creators meticulously searched for and obtained original plates from the Qianlong era, which were then printed using premium "paper longevity" paper. As a result, it most authentically preserves the original charm, making it a rare treasure in the world.
This edition of the Sanxi Tang Fapti combines decades of preservation efforts and is one of the most authoritative imperial collection calligraphy albums (the other being the Chunhua Ge Fapti, which is about to enter the world). Its first silk-bound printing has allowed this invaluable cultural heritage to be passed down for generations, marking a significant event in the rescue of cultural relics and a celebration for global Chinese culture.
