Features: This book is primarily intended as a review and examination preparation guide for undergraduate students of traditional Chinese medicine in higher education institutions across the country, as well as a reference for those pursuing postgraduate studies. It can also serve as a study guide for students in the seven-year integrated undergraduate and master's program, traditional Chinese medicine specialty students, self-study examinees for traditional Chinese medicine, and junior and intermediate-level pediatric practitioners seeking professional advancement. The purpose of this book is to enable students, after a comprehensive study of Pediatrics of Traditional Chinese Medicine, to grasp the key points and challenging aspects of the discipline. Through concise explanations and comprehensive exercises, it aims to enhance their ability to analyze and solve problems, as well as prepare for examinations. In line with the spirit of the editorial committee of this series, the main editor first formulated the writing format and outline, followed by the division of labor among all contributors. Among them, Chapter 7 (Kidney-related Syndromes), Chapter 8 (Pediatric Epidemic Diseases), Chapter 9 (Parasitic Diseases), and Chapter 10 (Other Diseases) were written by Zhang Wei; Chapters 1 (A Brief History of the Development of Pediatric Traditional Chinese Medicine, Physiological, Etiological, and Pathological Characteristics, Transformation and Child-Rearing Principles) and Chapters 2 (An Overview of Pediatric Diagnosis, Syndrome Differentiation, and Treatment) were written by Hou Shuping; Chapter 3 (Navel Wind, Hard Edema Syndrome, and Navel Disorders), Chapter 4 (Lung-related Syndromes), Chapter 6 (Heart and Liver-related Syndromes), and the General Review and Practice Test A in the Appendix were also written by Hou Shuping; Chapter 5 (Spleen-related Syndromes) and Practice Test B were written by Yang Lizhen; Chapters 1 (Age Stages, Growth and Development in Children, and Feeding of Infants and Young Children) and Chapters 2 (Fluid Balance and Fluid Therapy in Children) were written by Wang Hai. Finally, the book was reviewed and edited by Lü Yuxia.
