Publication Date: 2001-09-01
Features: This book collects 102 images of highly advanced animals worldwide that have gone extinct due to human activities, each accompanied by empathetic descriptive text, introducing the extinct creatures on Earth. Before human existence, the rate and proportion of wildlife extinction were very low. However, in recent years, with excessive development of nature, environmental pollution, indiscriminate hunting and killing of animals, and unrestrained logging of forests, the rate of wildlife extinction has greatly accelerated. If we ignore the wildlife that has gone extinct due to human harm, environmental protection becomes impossible. What we face is the necessity of using human wisdom to create a vibrant and thriving natural world where all living things flourish.
