Features: This edition is based on the Ji Jie edition of Jiang Yong, with textual collation primarily referencing the Ji Zhu edition by Mao Xinglai, and also drawing on the Ye Cai and Zhang Boxing editions. Corrections were made on the spot, with annotations appended at the end. The annotations focus on identifying the origins of language or theoretical sources, and where the meaning is difficult to understand, they clarify the reasoning. For explanations of reasoning, as much as possible, the old interpretations by Zhu Xi, Ye Cai, Mao Xinglai, Jiang Yong, and Zhang Boxing are utilized. If old interpretations cannot be used, original explanations are added. Minimal annotations are provided for wording, and the meaning of the text is not elaborated upon, as it can be understood from the translation. The translation is not a word-for-word rendering but prioritizes clarity of meaning. This edition contains 623 entries, with one additional entry taken from the Yang Boyan edition, specifically the last entry in Volume 5. Volume 6 originally included the entry "Dying of hunger is a small matter, losing one's integrity is a great matter," which was removed by Zhang Boxing in the Qing Dynasty and replaced with "Many people today do not know their parents' love." This edition follows Zhang Boxing's version, and to maintain the original appearance, the entry "Dying of hunger is a small matter" is included in the annotations. Each entry has its specific source identified and noted below, with corrections made for incorrect sources cited by previous annotators, and missing sources in the current edition are indicated in the notes. For the convenience of readers in reading and researching, relevant research materials are appended at the end of the book.
