Features: Chinese characters are the symbols for recording the Chinese language and one of the oldest and most scientific writing systems in the world, with a history of over 6,000 years. The earliest recognizable Chinese characters are the oracle bone script of the Shang Dynasty and the later bronze script. Modern Chinese characters evolved from these ancient scripts. Chinese characters are a precious cultural heritage left to us by the ancestors of the Chinese nation. Learning, using, inheriting, cherishing, and developing them is a glorious and sacred duty for every Chinese person. Otherwise, we will be ashamed of our ancestors and future generations. For this reason, as early as June 6, 1951, People's Daily published an editorial titled: Correctly Use the Mother Tongue, Strive for the Purity and Health of the Language. The article emphasized: "Every document, report, newspaper, and publication of the Party organizations and government agencies exists to propagate truth, indicate tasks, and methods to the masses. They have a great influence on the masses. Therefore, it is essential that every document, report, newspaper, and publication uses correct language to express ideas, so that the ideas can be correctly grasped by the masses, and only then can they produce correct, material power." However, it is a pity that to this day, over fifty years have passed, due to various reasons, the lofty and sacred goal of "correctly using the mother tongue and striving for the purity and health of the language" has not been achieved. Instead, it has been on the decline and is becoming increasingly severe. Now, when you turn on the radio, TV, watch movies, or listen to reports, the phenomenon of mispronouncing characters and words is very serious, almost existing everywhere and at all times!
