Features: With the continuous deepening of China's reform and opening-up, our country has raised higher requirements for the English proficiency of senior talents, and deafening English must be corrected. To this end, the Ministry of Education decided to add a listening section to the foreign language papers (non-foreign language majors) of the national postgraduate entrance examination starting from 2002. The English examination syllabus has also made corresponding adjustments to the questions. The listening section of the exam is approximately 30 minutes long and accounts for 20 points. For candidates preparing for the national postgraduate entrance examination, the most worrying part for most examinees is undoubtedly the English listening section. To help candidates effectively prepare for the exam, we have meticulously designed 15 sets of listening simulation questions strictly according to the requirements of the examination syllabus. By systematically practicing these questions, candidates can quickly improve their listening test-taking skills and boost their confidence. This book is jointly written by five experienced teachers from the College of Foreign Languages at Wuhan University. The test materials are mainly sourced from English and American newspapers, textbooks, the internet, and other sources. The content is extensive, the difficulty level is moderate, and the format is standardized. This book is accompanied by an audio cassette recorded by American teachers Joana Carlson and Larry Wang.
