Features: When compiling this series of books, we focused on the following points:
First, we aimed to reflect the new developments in economic science. Not only did we arrange new branches such as environmental economics, network economics, and knowledge economics in the structure, but we also ensured that the content reflected the latest achievements in economic development.
Second, the presentation of the content should be both comprehensive, systematic, and scientific, yet accessible and easy to understand. We strived to express profound theories in simple and popular language as much as possible.
Third, we handled the relationship between compilation and authorship appropriately. This series not only incorporates the latest achievements in economic research and teaching from around the world (i.e., "compilation") but also combines the teaching and research practices and results of the authors, as well as their understanding of real-world economic life (i.e., "authorship"). Without extensive "compilation," it would be difficult to broaden readers' perspectives and grasp the context of the field. Without "authorship" based on teaching and research, textbooks would lack soul and become disconnected from reality.
Fourth, we paid attention to the combination of "cold" and "hot" topics. We required that when discussing "cold" fundamental theoretical issues, we reflect the logic and philosophy of real life, and when addressing "hot" practical issues, we provide theoretical satisfaction.
