Is it possible that I have measles?History of treatment and effectiveness: I took some fever-reducing medicine, and the fever went down.
The kind of help I need: I want to see if it is measles.
Doctor's answer:
I have something like eczema on my body, it gets hot at night. It's not measles. The rash appears before the fever, so it's not measles. Measles usually starts with a fever of 3 to 5 days before the rash appears. First, it appears as pale red maculopapules behind the ears and along the hairline, gradually spreading to the forehead, face, neck, and then downward to the chest, abdomen, back, and finally to the hands and feet, reaching the palms and soles within 2 to 3 days. The rash is based on maculopapules, initially bright red, fading when pressed, with varying sizes, an average diameter of 2 to 5 mm, and sparse, distinct arrangements. At the peak of the rash, the number of maculopapules increases continuously, merging into patches, and the color gradually darkens, but the skin between the rashes remains normal. Occasionally, small vesicles or fine hemorrhagic maculopapules may be seen.
