Doctor's answer:
Enzyme inducers can induce the activity of glucuronosyltransferase in the smooth endoplasmic reticulum of hepatocytes, reducing serum unconjugated bilirubin. Phenobarbital can also increase Y-protein, promoting the uptake of bilirubin by hepatocytes. Phenobarbital at a daily dose of 5-8 mg/kg and nicotinamide at 100 mg/kg, both administered orally in three divided doses. Due to the need for 2-3 days to observe efficacy, medication should be started early. The combination of these two drugs can enhance therapeutic effects.Adrenal cortical hormones can block the antigen-antibody reaction, reducing hemolysis; they also promote the glucuronosyltransferase activity of hepatocytes in binding bilirubin. Prednisone at a daily dose of 1-2 mg/kg, administered orally in three divided doses, or hydrocortisone at 6-8 mg/kg or dexamethasone at 1-2 mg, with 100-150 ml of 10% glucose infused intravenously. Patients suspected of infection should be used cautiously under effective control of anti-infection medications.
